Climate activists around the world staged demonstrations to raise awareness as world leaders met in New York at the U.N. Climate Summit.
Starting Friday on college campuses around the country, students and faculty staged walkouts. Those walkouts continued Monday, while in Washington, D.C., protesters took over major streets and intersections in an attempt to “shut down DC.”
