CNN analyst, Yale lecturer says US has a ‘biological terrorist’ in the White House

A lecturer at Yale University claimed that there is a “biological terrorist in the White House.”

She later stated that "BTW, I mean that literally."

Yale University Jackson Institute for Global Affairs senior lecturer and CNN analyst Asha Rangappa tweeted that there is a “biological terrorist in the White House.”

Rangappa tweeted that Trump is a “biological agent” because of a March 24th memo from the Department of Justice obtained by Politico. It reads in part “Because coronavirus appears to meet the statutory definition of a ‘biological agent,’ such acts potentially could implicate the Nation’s terrorism-related statutes.”

“To recap: We have a biological terrorist in the White House,” she wrote.

To clear up any confusion, she later tweeted that she means “that literally,” stating “Trump’s own AG says that COVID meets the statutory definition of a ‘biological agent’ and that intentionally passing it to others can constitute an act of terrorism.”

In August, Rangappa took issue with Nikki Haley stating that “America is not a racist country,” replying “Right. Is that why you went from going by Nimrata [sic] to ‘Nikki’?”

Campus Reform reached out to Rangappa for further comment but did not receive a reply in time for publication.
