EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Students call for national hate speech law...but can't define 'hate speech'

A member of former Vice President Joe Biden’s transition team wrote an op-ed in 2019 calling for America to consider enacting “hate speech” laws. 

The news comes after several polls have shown a growing number of Americans, particularly young Americans, support a “hate speech” exception to the First Amendment. In light of this, Campus Reform went to the University of Florida to get students’ thoughts on a potential national hate speech law, and whether they could define what constitutes “hate speech.”
