VIDEO: Do students think Trump deserved to contract COVID-19?

Students were also asked about Trump’s response to the pandemic thus far and whether or not they believe he has done a good job.

Campus Reform recently asked students to react to the news that President Trump tested positive for COVID-19.

“I just thought it was a little bit funny,” one student said of Trump getting COVID-19.

President Trump was recently diagnosed with COVID-19 and spent a few days at Walter Reed Medical Center.

Campus Reform asked students to react to the news.

One student said upon hearing the news she was “shocked, but not surprised.”

“It was to be expected,” another student added. “I mean, I don’t know, he wasn’t following any of the guidelines.”

“I mean, it’s kind of wrong to say, but I just thought it was a little bit funny because like he’s talking about how people shouldn’t be, like, conscious of what’s going, like it’s not important, and then he ends up getting it,” one student said.

Students overwhelmingly disagreed when asked if Trump deserved to get COVID-19.

“I don’t think anyone deserves to get COVID, but like you know, if it’s like, if you’re not going to follow the guidelines, you kind of get what you get, you know,” one student argued.

“No, nobody deserves to have that,” another student said.

“I don’t think we should ever wish that on anyone,” one student agreed.
