Doug Spero is an Emmy award-winning veteran TV and radio broadcast journalist. Doug's diverse media backround includes a 25-year career at NBC and CBS News in New York as an on-air reporter, bureau chief, assignment editor, and field producer. Doug later served as a news director at two ABC-affiliated television stations in the Southeast. He also has experience as a consultant in the news research field and as a media professor at Meredith College, the University of North Carolina - Pembroke, and Eastern Carolina University.
