Howard University responds after reported student is filmed attacking Trump supporters in DC
Freelance journalist and reported Howard University student Brittany McAlister allegedly attacked Trump supporters at the “Million MAGA March” in Washington, D.C. on Nov. 14.
A woman who was reported to be a freelance journalist and a Howard University student was allegedly recorded attacking supporters of President DonaTrump supporters at the “Million MAGA March” in Washington, D.C. on November 14.
A woman identified as Brittany McAlister was filmed in two viral videos allegedly attacking Trump supporters. In one example, the subject identified by multiple outlets as McAlister kicked a man who had been knocked unconscious by another protester.

In another instance, she allegedly ran up to a woman carrying an American flag, punched her, and ran away.

As the Post Millennial reported, the group Refuse Fascism identified McAlister in a tweet that was later deleted.
As of November 15, the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department inquired about information regarding McAlister, stating that the assault case was under investigation.
D.C. Police public affairs specialist Aliana Gertz told Campus Reform that the department “has not arrested an individual by this name at this time.”
MPD announces arrests have been made in an Aggravated Assault offense that occurred on 11/14/20 in the 1700 b/o I Street, Northwest.
This case remains under investigation.

Howard University Director of Public Relations Alonda Thomas told Campus Reform that the university “strongly condemns all forms of violence and abhorrent behavior.”
The school “has stringent policies and procedures in place to investigate potential wrongdoing and will take the appropriate action against any student found to be in violation of our Code of Conduct.”
