What do the words “crazy,” “illegal alien,” “ghetto,” and “gypped” have in common? The University of Michigan paid $16,000 to ignite an “inclusive language” campaign that urges students to stop using these words because they are considered offensive.
Derek Draplin, a senior at University of Michigan and editor in chief of The Michigan Review appeared on Fox News to discuss his reaction to the new campaign.
“I think its absurd, it’s not so much regulatory, its meant to be a program that is educating, but the university should not be telling students what they can say,” Derek told Fox News.
