PHOTOS: YAF’s Reagan Ranch Center becomes latest vandalism target
YAF's Reagan Ranch in California was vandalized on Monday.

Young America’s Foundation’s Reagan Ranch Center in Santa Barbara, California was vandalized on Monday with the phrase “Repubs=Traitors” written in spray paint.

Spencer Brown, a spokesperson for YAF, tweeted that “Today’s weak and inaccurate (we’re a nonpartisan 501c3 nonprofit) act of vandalism at @TheReaganRanch Center in Santa Barbara won’t deter @YAF from advancing freedom’s principles.”
YAF has dozens of student group chapters at colleges and universities across the country.

On April 12, 1998, YAF purchased the Reagan Ranch, with the hopes of preserving the Reagan legacy and the property itself. President Reagan and wife Nancy lived on this property for 25 years and it was referred to as the “Western White House” during his 8 years in office.
The ranch was purchased with the help of an endowment from Richard and Helen DeVos.
Reagan Ranch Center also serves as an educational center for students involved in the organization or anyone interested in learning about former President Ronald Reagan, according to the New York Times.
