Public university to fund sexually explicit slideshow of transgender’s sexual metamorphosis
A public university plans to host an event in which a self-described man displays sexually explicit images of his transition from a female to male physique.
The University of Minnesota – Duluth (UMD), now infamous for funding controversial programs, plans to pay transsexual activist Loren Cameron an honorarium of $4,000 for his presentation “Transgender Images,” emails from the school’s administration sent exclusively to Campus Reform reveal.
Cameron’s website, which also displays explicit images, says the purpose of his photography is to “provide an affirming visual resource for transgendered people and to demystify the transsexual body for the non-transgendered viewer.
“Currently, new works are in progress: self-portrait nude studies, transgenders and partners nudes and portraits and nudes of transsexual women and men,” reads Cameron’s bio on his website. “His documentation of surgical options for transmen (female-to-male) is ongoing.”
University officials also refused to comment on how the presentation is educational to the student body or provide further details on the event.
Internal e-mails from within the president’s office recently revealed that UMD paid anti-white author Tim Wise $7,500 to speak on race relations last semester.
Throughout the month of October, UMD is also celebrating “Queer History Month” with various events such as a “National Coming Out Day Luncheon” and “Fall Drag Show.”
UMD also became the center of national news in June when they sponsored the anti-white “Unfair Campaign. The campaign featured a video of white individuals apologizing for their skin color and saying it was “unfair” they were born white.
UMD spokesperson Judith Karon did not provide Campus Reform provide a more detailed description of the transgender event, saying only “I’m sure there is info about him online, but have no more information on the UMD specifics yet.”
