University department calls Trump, Sessions 'criminals'
The University of Arizona’s Immigrant Student Resource Center (ISRC) recently hosted a rally in support of illegal immigrant students and refugees, and also asserted on Facebook that "Trump & Sessions are the criminals."
The “No Hate, No Fear, Make Immigrants and Refugees Welcome Here” Open House and Rally was hosted on the campus Mall, and featured several speakers who discussed their personal experiences with DACA.

At the heart of the event, the organizers erected massive signs that read “No Hate, No Fear," and Immigrants and Refugees Welcome Here.” Protesters, including students and faculty, could also be heard chanting various slogans in support of illegal immigrants.
Shortly before the rally, the ISRC took to social media to voice support for "folx with DACA and folx who are undocumented," accusing President Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions of being criminals while insisting that illegal immigrants are “NOT illegal.”
“You are NOT a criminal. You are NOT illegal… “ the organization wrote in a Facebook post. “You deserve those jobs because you're f*cking talented. You deserve to be in school because you work your ass off for it. You are smarter than Sessions. You are more courageous than the U.S. President. You are welcome here. You did everything right and so did your parents who brought you. Sessions & Trump are the criminals.”

The Facebook post included other controversial remarks, presumably accusing Trump and Sessions of being “ugly,” “inhumane,” and “weak.”
“Their careers are based on illegal acts against humanity. They don't know what love is. They are weak. They are ugly. They are foolish. They are inhumane. They do not deserve their jobs. They bully others to get ahead and don't work for what they have. They are never as smart as you. They lack courage in all that they do. They are not welcome here. They do everything wrong,” ISRC wrote.
The ISRC is part of the Early Academic Outreach Center, a university-sponsored program that also pledges to provide “academic, career, scholarship, & social support to currently enrolled students, including students with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) work permits, undocumented students, students with mixed-immigration status families, and students from refugee backgrounds”.
Following the campus rally, a group of pro-DACA activists took to the streets of Tucson, marching from the university all the way to City Hall.
The Immigrant Student Resource Center did not respond to Campus Reform’s request for comment.
