[VIDEO] Washington DC college students celebrate ‘crazy’ Bachmann's retirement plans
Students at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday panned Rep. Michele Bachmann’s (R-Minn.) in response to her morning announcement that she would not seek reelection in 2014.
“Sound’s great, we don’t need crazy people in Congress,” one student told Campus Reform.
“I don’t really like her anyway, because she’s a crazy person,” another said.
“We just talked about this in class,” he added.

Another student, who was apparently working with an environmental organization Greenpeace, expressed disdain for the general political process.
“I pay no attention to any political affiliations whatsoever,” he said. “We’re here for the environment, not politics.”
Bachmann, who briefly ran for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012, announced her retirement in a lengthy video monologue on Wednesday morning.
In the video Bachmann said she would consider running for office in the future denied her departure was due to congressional investigations into her conduct or her lengthening reelection odds.
