Fauci 'fully expects' schools to reopen by fall

Dr. Anthony Fauci said Tuesday he expects the nation's schools will reopen by fall.

The prediction came as colleges nationwide have moved classes online for the remainder of the spring semester.

Some have already announced virtual instruction for the summer semester.

The nation’s top infectious disease expert and White House Coronavirus Task Force member Dr. Anthony Fauci said Tuesday that he “fully expects” schools will re-open this fall as more colleges nationwide have already begun moving all summer courses online.

”I fully expect, though I’m humble enough to know that I can’t accurately predict, that by the time that we get to the fall that we will have this under control enough that it certainly will not be the way it is now, where people are shutting schools,” Fauci said.
