Recently, the NCAA signaled that they would consider boycotting states that choose to protect women’s sports, from hosting championship games.
In a statement last month, the NCAA stated, “The opportunity for transgender student-athletes to compete in college sports,” is essential to “fair competition.”
Campus Reform correspondent Leana Dippie asked students the University of Florida if they agreed with this proposal, given the clear biological differences between men and women.
Most students criticized the move, and felt the organization was “playing politics” rather than prioritizing the athletes’ best interest, and said the NCAA has a duty to protect women’s sports.
