Couple caught in coitus atop Chipotle near college

The couple were caught 20 minutes before the Chipotle was set to close.

Police say the couple continued their lovemaking for 15-20 seconds after being told by an officer to stop.

This isn't the first time a couple has been caught having illicit sex near the University of Del. campus.

Chipotle claims to serve their food with integrity, but one Delaware couple apparently lacks it after being caught having sex on the restaurant’s roof during business hours.

The couple was caught rendezvousing atop the restaurant near the University of Delaware last Saturday night at 9:40 p.m.—just 20 minutes before Chipotle was to close—in Newark, Del., only a few blocks from the University of Delaware’s campus.

According to the police report, the Newark Police Department responded to multiple calls of a male and female engaging in sex on the rooftop of Chipotle. Once they arrived, an officer clearly observed the couple having sex at the front of the roof.

Police say the couple continued their lovemaking for approximately 15-20 seconds even after the officer advised them to stop.

The couple attempted to run away to the man’s apartment and hide, but police located the couple and took them into custody where they were charged with conspiracy, indecent exposure, lewdness, loitering, and resisting arrest.

The couple has been identified as Michael Suh, 39, and Nicole Germack, 27, both of Newark. They were released on a $1,800 unsecured bond.

This isn’t the first time a couple was caught having sex in public near the university’s campus. Police began a search for a couple after being caught by cell phone videos and photos engaging in sex behind a dumpster on St. Patrick’s Day.

Cpl. James Spadola of the Newark Police Department could not confirm to Campus Reform whether or not the couple had eaten at Chipotle prior to climbing the roof, saying that he was “unaware what they did prior to going on the rooftop.”

Spadola also did not know why the couple continued to engage in coitus even after they were told to stop.
