Prof's posts reveal full disdain for 'cis het white people'
The same professor who recently argued that universities should “stop hiring white cis men” has also repeatedly expressed disdain for “cis het white people” on social media.
“I need to take a long break from disagreeing with white people,” Harron, a “temporary assistant professor” of mathematics, wrote on her Facebook page in early May, as reported by The Daily Caller.

“Their Have You Considereds have worn me down and I’m showing signs of weakness,” she added. “If you wanna know why I don’t trust white people, it’s because of what that trust costs me.”
The following day, Harron posted a status update claiming that “cis het white people need to lose more,” and that they “don’t know how to not be in control," to the extent that they "want to even control their dismantling of privilege."
According to The Daily Caller, Harron also criticized the police in a subsequent Facebook post in June, arguing that “as long as police are trained to murder, they will never be convicted.”
Prior to her latest comments on social media, Harron maintained that white, cisgender males should promptly vacate their positions because “actual solutions require women of color and trans people.”

“Not to alarm you, but I probably want you to quit your job, or at least take a demotion,” Harron states in her American Mathematical Society blog post. “If you are a white cis man you almost certainly should resign from your position of power. That’s right, please quit.”
In the same blog post, she suggests that “white cis men” should resign from their roles on hiring and curriculum-development committees, “and make sure [they’re] replaced by a woman of color or trans person.”
Harron also clarifies that she intends to exclude “white cis women” from the latter category, arguing that “having white cis women run the world is no kind of solution.”

In a lengthy Facebook post in June, the professor returned to the topic of women in academia, arguing that the idea of women being uninterested in STEM, leadership and sports is “violence,” according to The Daily Caller.
“I shouldn’t have to argue at all let alone nicely against these ideas,” Harron wrote. “These are ‘ideas’ I shouldn’t even come across. That these ‘ideas’ are everywhere is violence. Asking me to treat them as innocent is violence.”
The professor also reportedly drew parallels between the perceived failure of slavery and the perceived failure of the current justice system, contending that “white justice can *never* be just.”
Harron did not immediately return Campus Reform’s request for comment.
