About Jacob

Jacob Wernette is a current Sophomore at the University of Texas at Arlington. He is majoring in Political Sciences in International Relations, and minoring in German Language. He is the current Vice Chairman of UTA's Young Americans for Freedom chapter and has eight years of Student Government experience including as a Student Senator and Associate Justice at his college. Jacob also served a term on the Mayor's Youth Council in his hometown where he pitched a DFW mass-transit initiative. After college, Jacob wants to work in government as a diplomat and as an elected official for the people. His end goal is to run for President of the United States. Jacob was originally born in Arkansas and has been a proud citizen of Texas for nearly a decade. Jacob is a devout Christian who enjoys going to church, reading, writing, nature walking, and going flying. He also avidly collects model airplanes, books, political memorabilia, and old records
