About Abigail

Originally from Western New York, Abigail Johnson is a junior studying journalism and rhetoric at College of the Ozarks. She is an active member of both her campus Young America’s Foundation chapter and Young Women for America chapter. Abigail is passionate about producing quality media and advocating for free speech. She works as a reporter in the College of the Ozarks’ broadcast newsroom “The Point”. Her journalistic work has won three awards from the Missouri Broadcast Educators Association and several Mid-America Emmy Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. In her free time, she enjoys drinking coffee and hiking the Ozark hills.
