About Leona

Leona Salinas is a Political Science major with a Journalism minor at Texas State University. She is an author for The Bobcat Tribune and a research intern at Tufts University under Christina Bain. She serves as the Recruitment Chair for the Network of Enlightened Women (NeW) and interns with the Pocketbook Project. Her background includes an epidemiology internship with UT OnRamps and years of experience working on her family’s cattle ranch.
